It was about this time last year that I started to make a real effort to blog on a regular basis. And on that note, I successfully blogged at least twice a month minimum.
I started the year off with the notion that it was going to be full of “serious hustle.” But it turns out that in order to bring myself to the next level, I needed to go back to the basics.
I needed to constantly recognize and acknowledge the things that truly give me inspiration — and let them fully inspire me — instead of the usual, “Oh that’s neat … moving on … ”
I needed to learn from people I admire. And actually practice what they taught me.
I needed to take one day at a time. And learn how to not get discouraged by the never-ending to-do list. Ok, I’m still working on this one (but let’s be honest, isn’t everyone?).
I needed to show my work. And not be afraid if it’s not perfect (yet) or what people will think.
So what exactly do I think year 26 has in store?
The truth is year 26 won’t change much. I don’t mean that in a negative way, it’s just that I’m still learning. Year 25 taught me to be okay with that fact.
More pictures. More laughing. More blogging. More exploring. More taking life one day at a time. More of me.
